Information

Anna Korbel is an illustrator from Manchester. Her drawings concern surreal, esoteric themes - things that are impossible and unexplainable like religion, the mind, presocratic philosophy, parallel worlds, and science fiction. She works almost completely using analogue methods, predominantly risograph and screen print, creating outcomes that explain her theories and ideas.

Presently, most of Anna’s professional work sits within the music industry, making posters and other promotional material for live events. As well as this, she has illustrated two literary publications: Roma Haver’s Confession Tapes (2018) and Die Quieter Please (2024), designed logos, and decorated windows for shops and businesses.

Anna plays in traditional folk band Brown Wimpenny and sings for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir. Aside from drawing and making music, she spends her time learning Yiddish, knitting, and reading Kurt Vonnegut books.

You will soon be able purchase various posters and publications through the shop on this website. For all other commissions and enquiries, please email a.r.korbel@gmail.com
